DRUG CLASS: Analgesic and Anti pyretic and Muscle relaxant
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Aceclofenac : Is an oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Through COX-2 inhibition, aceclofenac downregulates the production of various inflammatory mediators including prostaglandin
Paracetamol : Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.
Thiocolchicoside : Is a semi-synthetic derivative of the colchicine, a natural anti-inflammatory glycoside which originates from the flower seeds of Superba
is a muscle relaxant with anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. How it works is unknown, but it is believed to be via antagonism of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. However, it is also appears to be a competitive antagonist of GABAA and glycine receptors.
INDICATIONS: Is indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
Is commonly used to treat back pain and other pains caused by vertebral column or spinal cord disorders, as well as to relieve pain after surgery. This medication functions by interacting with specific receptors in the central nervous system.
