DRUG CLASS: Proton pump inhibitor, Anti emetic, Antiemetic & Antidyspeptic
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Pantoprazole : Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that binds irreversibly and specifically to the proton pump, thereby reducing gastric acid secretion. Pantoprazole has a relatively long duration of action compared with other PPIs, and a lower propensity to become activated in slightly acidic body compartments.
Domperidone : Domperidone is a dopamine-2 receptor antagonist. It acts as an antiemetic and a prokinetic agent through its effects on the chemoreceptor trigger zone and motor function of the stomach and small intestine
INDICATIONS: GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), Acid peptic ulcers , Heart Burn, Nausea
