Glucosamine 750mg + MSM 200mg + Diacerine 50mg

PRESENTATION: Glucosamine 750MG + Methylsulfonylmethane 200MG +Diacerin 50mg  Tablets

DRUG CLASS:  Amino Sugar , Sulfone & Anthraquinones

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Glucosamine : Glucosamine prevents collagen degeneration in chondrocytes by inhibiting lipoxidation reactions and protein oxidation

Methylsulfonylmethane  : Methylsulfonylmethane (also known as MSM, DMSO2, methyl sulfone, and dimethyl sulfone) is a naturally occurring organosulfur compound that can be found in several plants, grains, fruits, and vegetables.

MSM's mechanism of action is unclear, but it is thought to have influence on some processes that involve inflammation and oxidative stress at the subcellular level.

Diacerin :  The principal mechanism of action of diacerein is to inhibit the interleukin-1β (IL-1β) system .

Diacerein has been shown to inhibit the IL-1β-induced activation of transcription factor NF-κB, which stimulates pro-inflammatory cytokine expression.

Downregulation of IL-1 levels has been confirmed in the synovial fluid of patients with knee OA.

Besides its anti-inflammatory properties, diacerein has been shown to have anti-catabolic and pro-anabolic  effects on cartilage and synovial membrane

Glucosamine and Diacerein are proteoglycan synthesis stimulators while Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) is a nutritional supplement. Together, they help in the building of cartilage (the soft tissue around the joints) leading to joint repair. MSM additionally lowers inflammation (swelling) of the joints

INDICATIONS:  Osteoarthritis , Joint painRheumatoid arthritisMultiple sclerosis
