MECHANISM OF ACTION:  

Calcium Carbonate :  Calcium carbonate is a dietary supplement used when the amount of calcium taken in the diet is not enough. Calcium is needed by the body for healthy bones, muscles, nervous system, and heart. Calcium carbonate also is used as an antacid to relieve heartburn, acid indigestion, and upset stomach. 

CALCITROL- Calcitriol is the active form of vitamin D, normally made in the kidney. It is also known as 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol. Calcitriol is used to treat and prevent low levels of calcium and bone disease in patients whose kidneys or parathyroid glands (glands in the neck that release natural substances to control the amount of calcium in the blood) are not working normally. 

Zinc Methionine : Zinc Methionine optimally absorbed zinc. Supports immunity, cognitive function, healthy skin, as well as fertility and DNA synthesis. Zinc is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress and is essential for many vital enzymatic processes in the body. 

INDICATIONS: 

CALCITRIOL+CALCIUM CARBONATE+ZINC effectively treats various conditions caused by low calcium levels in the body, such as osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), osteomalacia/rickets (weak bones), hypoparathyroidism (low levels of parathyroid hormone), and latent tetany (a muscle disease with low blood calcium levels). 

CALCITRIOL+CALCIUM CARBONATE+ZINC can also be given to pregnant, nursing, and postmenopausal women to ensure that they are getting enough calcium. 

CALCITRIOL+CALCIUM CARBONATE+ZINC is used to treat hyperparathyroidism (overactive parathyroid glands) and metabolic bone disease in people with chronic kidney disease, surgery, or other conditions.
