PRESENTATION: Aceclofenac 100mg +paracetamol 325 mg + Serratiopeptidase 15MG
DRUG CLASS: Analgesic and Anti pyretic agents
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Aceclofenac : Is an oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Through COX-2 inhibition, aceclofenac downregulates the production of various inflammatory mediators including prostaglandin
Paracetamol : Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.
Serratiopeptidase :
Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which helps in the breakdown of a protein (fibrin) which is formed as a by-product of the clotted blood at the site of injury. It thus causes thinning of the fluids around the site of injury thereby making fluid drainage smoother in the swollen tissue.
Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that has been used for reducing inflammation, it has antiedemic, analgesic, fibrinolytic and caesinolytic properties.
INDICATIONS: Is used in the reduction of pain and inflammation due to bone or soft tissue injury, resolution of postoperative inflammation, oedema (swollen tissue with fluid) and pain.
DOSAGE : As Directed by the Physician
